“Sicilian Soul” is more than a tour — it is a curated lifestyle experience. Your journey begins in western Sicily with a wine tasting in Marsala and a scenic boat excursion to the ancient island of Mothia. Travel along the famous Salt Road to medieval Erice, then enjoy an exciting safari-buggy adventure in the countryside near Segesta.  From here, continue to Monreale and Palermo, where magnificent art, rich history, and vibrant street food culture intertwine for an unforgettable Sicilian experience.

Day 1 : Arrival in Palermo | Marsala

Arrival at airport in Palermo. Meet your driver and transfer to the hotel in Marsala-Trapani area. Accommodation in a wine cellar hotel, visit of the cave, wine tasting and light dinner and overnight. (D)

Day 2: Marsala

After breakfast, enjoy a boat excursion from the Stagnone salt pans of Marsala to the island of Mothya, once part of the confederation of Punic cities and now a small archaeological park with an adjoining museum. Return by boat and visit the Salt Museum to learn about the traditional methods of sea salt production.  In the afternoon, depart for Trapani along the scenic “Salt Road,” offering views of the famous salt pans, and continue to Erice, one of Sicily’s best-preserved medieval villages perched on Mount Erice. Enjoy free time to explore the historic center, visit the Gothic cathedral, and admire the panoramic views over the Egadi Islands and the city of Trapani. Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight. (B)

Day 3: Marsala | Monreale | Palermo

After breakfast, depart for Palermo with a stop at Borgo di Bruca, just minutes from Segesta. After a short briefing, enjoy a buggy ride through the countryside of western Sicily, passing orchards and vineyards, with tastings of fresh seasonal fruit and panoramic views of the Egadi Islands and the Temple of Segesta.  Continue to Monreale, located on a hill overlooking Palermo. Enjoy a light lunch with local specialties, followed by a guided visit of the Cathedral, renowned for its magnificent mosaics depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments, and the Arab-Norman Benedictine Cloister. Dinner on your own and overnight in a charming hotel in Palermo’s historic center. (B,L)

Day 4: Palermo

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Palermo’s historic center, one of the largest in Europe. Visit the Martorana Church, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, and the famous Quattro Canti while strolling along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the ancient “Cassaro.” Continue to Piazza Bologni, the Cathedral (inside visit), and view the exterior of the Norman Palace. Along the way, sample Palermo’s famous street food.  In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Palermo, the capital of Sicily. Dinner on your own and overnight. (B)

Day 5: Palermo | Cefalu | Piazza Amerina

After breakfast, depart for Cefalù, a former fishing village and charming coastal town. Enjoy a walk through the city center along the main street to the Arab-Norman Cathedral and the medieval washhouse carved into the rock. Free time for lunch.  Continue to the Piazza Armerina area and check in at an agriresort in the heart of the Sicilian countryside. In the evening, take part in an engaging cooking class to learn traditional Sicilian recipes, followed by dinner featuring the dishes you have prepared. Overnight. (B,D)

Day 6: Piazza Amerina | Catania

After breakfast, visit the famous Villa Romana del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptionally well-preserved mosaics depicting mythological scenes and ancient hunting imagery.  Continue toward the Catania area with a stop at a local winery to visit a citrus garden, where you will discover well-known varieties such as Tarocco oranges and Clementines, along with unique fruits like Miyagawa mandarins and Etna lemons. You will also have the opportunity to plant your own citrus tree.  The experience concludes with a buffet of seasonal local specialties and a toast with Etna DOC wines in the historic Antico Palmento. Dinner on your own. Overnight in a charming manor house or centrally located 4-star hotel. (B,L)

Day 7: Mount Etna | Taormina | Catania

After breakfast, depart for Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Weather permitting, travel through a fascinating landscape of citrus groves, vineyards, and fruit trees, reaching an altitude of 1,800 metres to visit the Sylvester Craters, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views over the Ionian Sea. Stop along the way for a honey tasting.  Continue to Taormina, the charming town known as the “Pearl of the Ionian Sea,” a fashionable destination since the early 1900s. Enjoy free time for lunch, shopping, or strolling through its picturesque streets. You may also visit the Greek-Roman Theatre, famous for its breathtaking views of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna. Return to your hotel overnight. (B)

Day 8: Catania | Siracusa

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walk through Catania’s historic center. Visit the famous fish market, “A Piscaria,” one of the largest and most vibrant in Sicily, where you can experience the island’s rich seafood culture. Enjoy a tasting of typical Sicilian street food for lunch.  In the afternoon, continue to Siracusa for a guided visit of Ortigia, the historic center, and the archaeological area of Neapolis, including the Greek Theatre, the Latomie of Paradise, and the famous Ear of Dionysius. Day 9: Modica | Ragusa | Siracusa

After breakfast, depart for Modica, where you can wander through its stairways and charming alleys while enjoying panoramic viewpoints. Stroll along Corso Umberto I, lined with shops, restaurants, and pastry boutiques. Known as the City of a Hundred Churches and a capital of Sicilian Baroque, Modica is also famous for its chocolate. Enjoy a tasting of the renowned Modica chocolate, produced using an ancient recipe of Aztec origin.  Continue to Ragusa to visit the enchanting historic center of Ragusa Ibla, with its beautiful Baroque palaces and churches. Walk through the Giardini Iblei, the elegant public gardens from the 19th century, and visit the impressive St. George’s Cathedral. Stop at a local shop to taste Ragusano, a traditional PDO cheese produced exclusively in the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa. Return to the hotel. Free time for dinner and overnight. (B)

Day 10: Siracusa

Breakfast at the hotel and a full day at leisure. Relax or choose from optional excursions such as a boat tour, cooking class, farm visit with olive oil tasting, puppet theatre, or a full-day excursion to Noto and Marzamemi, including evening visits to the charming seaside village of Marzamemi. Day 11: Departure - Catania

After buffet breakfast, transfer to Catania Airport. End of the tour. (B)
