A Spanish Experience of a Lifetime!  On this 7-day experience, you'll stay in the heart of Barcelona living the high life with once in a lifetime outings by helicopter and by sea! This tour will be talked about for years to come!

Day 1: Barcelona

¡Bienvenido a España!  Arriving at the airport you will find your driver waiting and ready to bring you comfortably to your hotel in the centre of Barcelona.  Check in, maybe freshen up and then head out to start your discovery of this fascinating city.

Day 2: Barcelona 360 by Land, Sea & Air

Discover Barcelona from different perspectives on a unique, half-day small-group luxury tour of Barcelona by sea, land & air. Start with a walking tour through Passeig de Gracia where you will see some of the most emblematic buildings of Gaudí, the architect of the world-famous Sagrada Familia, such as Casa Batlló and la Pedrera put to Plaza Cataluña and Gothic Quarter. These architectural jewels stand side by side with some of Barcelona’s most prestigious shops which makes this avenue a verbal open-air museum. Continue to the Gothic Quarter to see Plaza Catalunya, the Cathedral tucked away in a hidden corner of the Gothic Quarter, and Plaza de Sant Jaume with the imposing government buildings of the Town Hall and Palace of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Wander into the Jewish Quarter to see the picturesque church of Santa Maria del Pi and then down the three-lined tablas on the way to the heliport. Glide up into the sky by helicopter for a bird's eye view of the city and enjoy indescribable views of Port Vell. Gaze out across the bright, colourful rooftops, bathed in the Mediterranean sun, and see Barcelona in a most unique way. To end this unique experience, you'll board our boat and sail along the coast for panoramic views of the city’s skyline and the Mediterranean Sea. Lasting about 4 hours, the Barcelona 360º tour is the most complete way to see Barcelona! The afternoon is free to spend as you choose. (B)

Day 3: Barcelona

An entire day free to pass as you choose. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel and then set out to enjoy the city at your own pace. (B)

Day 4: City, Tapas & Flamenco

After a day spent as you choose, this evening your expert local guide will take you through one of Barcelona's most authentic and trendiest districts, El Born. Travel back to the Middle Ages on this walking tour of the Gothic Quarter; explore hidden squares and picturesque churches, and admire the greatness of Santa Maria del Mar Church, an icon of Catalan Gothic architecture. Learn about Catalonia’s recent past at Centre Cultural del Born which is also home to the best conserved Roman archaeological site in the city. Then discover the Spanish Gastronomy tasting Basque Pintxos and the best Seafood tapas from the Mediterranean with a drink included as you visit 2 typical tapas bars. Pintxos (which means "toothpicks" or "small skewers") is a Basque culinary tradition that has extended to Barcelona and is the art of making delicatessen small bites that can become the sole component of a wonderful dinner. We continue to the former fishermen’s village of Barceloneta, where you will taste delicious Mediterranean seafood tapas like mussels, shrimp croquettes, octopus, and more. Finally, you will enjoy an intimate flamenco show surrounded by the Baroque atmosphere of Dalmases Palace, a hidden treasure from the 17th Century and once the meeting place of an aristocratic society of scholars. The perfect closing to an unforgettable evening! Day 5: Wine & Cava Tour

Wine and gastronomy are part of Catalonia’s popular culture. Through this tour, delve into the Penedès region to learn all about the fascinating world of wine. The influence of the sun and the Mediterranean Sea make the Penedès a privileged territory for winemaking. We will travel on a luxury private bus to visit 2 hand-picked selected wineries. Our first stop is a family-run boutique winery that has been cultivating vines for more than two thousand years. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by an expert winemaker who will tell us about the history of this millenary winery and guide us into the subterranean wine cellar. In this remarkable space, we learn fascinating facts about grape varieties, vine growing, winemaking, and the optimal conditions for its storage. It is now time to savour 4 charming wines in a stylish tasting room, accompanied by an assortment of gourmet delicatessen. Next, we will visit the traditional manor house (the current residence of the owner's family) and the vineyards to discover the art and secrets of winemaking! To add a glamorous touch to the experience, continue the visit through the vineyards on board a convertible 4x4 car (approx. 40 min.) accompanied by our guide and a viticulturist, a true passionate expert! A unique and exclusive way to visit a stunning rural landscape with endless vineyards. Along the way, admire a Romanesque church settle among the vineyards and belonging to the manor. The second cellar visited is an equally historical winery specialized in cava, a naturally sparkling wine with an unmistakable flavour deeply rooted in Catalonia. We have an exclusive opportunity to enter the Capella, the heart of the cellar, being the oldest part of the winery, an enchanting candle-lit ancient room where time stands still. After visiting the vineyard and cellar, enjoy a tasting of 4 unique cavas paired with a selection of appetizers to enhance the experience. Raise your glass for a toast to a great wine experience! This tours lasts about 6 hours and the remainder of today is at your leisure. (B)

Day 6: Evening Sail

On this final evening of your vacation enjoy an exclusive and intimate 1.5 hour sunset cruise in Barcelona on board a luxury sailboat! The most stunning views of Barcelona are best seen from the Crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean. Relax and let your worries drift away as we sail along the Barcelona coastline, marvelling at a very different and spectacular view of the city, its beaches & landmarks, and enjoy the incredible colours of the sunset from the sea. The city will slowly illuminate in front of you as the sun goes down along Barcelona’s skyline, making it the perfect picture time. Feel the breeze on your face and toast the day’s end while sipping a chilled glass of champagne, beer, or a soft drink accompanied by some Spanish snacks. You can kick back and relax, help with sailing the boat, or even take a dip into the big blue! Our sailboat is a truly unforgettable and therapeutic experience for everyone. If you selected a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday departure your tour also includes a Gin Tonic Workshop where you'll learn the secrets of how to prepare the best gin tonic, before the sailing starts.
