The capital of Spain, Madrid is a cosmopolitan city that can trace its roots to the times of Arab Emir Mohamed I (852-882) and has been the scene of many disputes & influences. A haven for history & architecture buffs - there will never be enough time to see it all!

Day 1: Madrid

¡Bienvenido a España!  Arriving at the airport you will find your driver waiting and ready to bring you comfortably to your hotel in the centre of Madrid.  Check-in, maybe freshen up and then head out to start your discovery of this fascinating city. 

Day 2: Madrid

After breakfast, make your own way to the starting point for a regular morning city sightseeing tour of Madrid taking you to see the major avenues and sites of Madrid such as Ventas (the bullring) the Plaza de España, the beautiful fountains of Cibeles and Neptune, Moncloa and much much more. The tour also has a guided visit to the majestic Royal Palace – the former Royal residence that remains in use for official ceremonies today. Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore this mesmerizing city. (B)

Day 3: Madrid | Toledo

After breakfast, make your own way to the starting point for a regular morning tour of the City of Three Cultures, Toledo. Located 70 km from Madrid, Toledo was a former Capital of Spain and known as the city of Three Cultures for the peaceful coexistence enjoyed by Muslims, Jews and Christian in the XII and XIV centuries. Your tour includes a guided walking tour of the historical centre, the Jewish Quarter and visits to the Santa Maria La Blanca Synagogue and Santo Tome´s Church – where El Greco´s masterpiece “The Burial of Count Orgaz” is to be seen. On returning to Madrid in the early afternoon, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. (B)

Day 4: Madrid

Today marks the end of your stay in Madrid.  At a time to suit your departing flight or train make your way to the airport or railway station to continue your journey (B)
