Spend 4 days exploring the romantic city of Verona and the beautiful vineyards of the surrounding countryside. Discover Verona's enchanting old town, its medieval castle, ancient Roman arena and of course the famous Juliet balcony. Visit the charming old village of Soave and taste the excellent Soave white wine in one of its historic wineries!

Day 1: Verona

Arriving in Verona, make your way to your centrally located hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or start exploring this romantic city on your own.

Day 2: Verona

This morning you will follow your guide in the old city centre of Verona and discover the most important sights, like the ancient Roman Arena and the charming Juliet’s balcony. Enjoy a pleasant walk between lanes, hidden gems and enchanting streets in the company of no more than 12 participants. Meet the guide in the city centre, from there you will start exploring the old town with the first stop in Castelvecchio, the old medieval castle. After that you will stop in Piazza Brà to admire the I° century B.C roman 'amphitheatre' from the outside and learn about the old games of gladiators along with other interesting myths and facts about the Arena. Enjoy a pleasant walk between the lanes to learn about the old town walls and other monuments from Romans times and Middle Ages, reliving the story of the past. After taking some memorable photos of ancient Roman ruins or some beautiful squares, you will reach the House and Balcony of Juliet to remember the famous love stories of old times, Romeo & Juliet, written by William Shakespeare. Then follow the guide to the central Piazza Erbe before ending the visit and feel really experienced about the local culture. The afternoon is free to spend as you choose. (B)

Day 3: Soave Wines

After a leisurely morning, this afternoon you'll enjoy a guided tour in a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan from Verona to the medieval village of Soave and its surrounding wine region. Visit the old village and the castle then one of the most beautiful wineries of the region that produces the white wine called Soave. Visit the old village of Soave and get to know about its territory, wine production and vineyards. A combination of a walking tour of a walking and an enogastronomic journey to explore the land of the white wine Soave. Today starts when you meet the guide-driver and take your place in the air-conditioned comfortable minivan and start to enjoy this relaxing trip to the wine region of Soave. Leaving the city centre you will enter in one of the most beautiful countrysides of Verona, admiring vineyards and old villages in the background. Listen to many interesting things from the guide about the local wines, the production and the wineries, you arrive in Soave to visit the beautiful medieval Borgo and its castle and also one beautiful and historic winery. There a personal Sommelier will lead you to discover the vineyards, the secrets of the production and the wine cellar. Then sit down for a wine-tasting session, including Soave white wine! (B)

Day 4: Verona

Today marks the end of your Verona City Break. Following breakfast at hotel check-out and end of our services. An optional transfer to the airport/railway or cruise pier can be booked on request. (B)
