Day 1: Madrid | Granada

This morning make your way to Madrid's centrally located Atocha railway station to board your train to Granada (4 hours approx). Once you have arrived in Granada, transfer independently to your selected hotel and, after checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to start discovering Granada on your own. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the convergence of three rivers - Beiro, Darro & Genie - you’ll discover plenty of things to do in this enriching, cultural city. Take a stroll through the bustling, narrow streets of the Albayzin - the Moorish area & oldest part of Granada and perhaps visit the Cathedral and Royal Chapel or the Bañuelos (Arab baths).

Day 2: Granada | Seville

The Alhambra is one of the most celebrated landmarks of the Islamic historical legacy and this morning you'll enjoy a guided visit of the Alhambra, the best example of sophisticated royal life during the Nazari Islamic Kingdom of the XIVth century, as well as of the famous & beautiful Generalife Gardens with its many fountains. Steeped in history and breathtakingly beautiful, a visit to La Alhambra is an undoubted must and one of the highlights of your overall trip. Later in the afternoon, transfer independently to the railway station for your onward journey to Seville (3 hours approximately). On arrival in Seville, make your way to your centrally located hotel and then you are free to start exploring this fascinating city, perhaps with a walk in the Maria Luisa Gardens or a visit to the monumental Plaza de España. (B)

Day 3: Seville

In the morning, we suggest you visit the wonders of the Royal Alcazar, the Cathedral and La Giralda, some of the must-see sights of Seville. After lunchtime, you will be collected from your hotel for an Artistic Sevilla tour which starts with a boat trip on the Guadalquivir River followed by a visit to the Maestanza Bullring and a sightseeing tour of the world famous Triana district. Finally, you'll visit the Basilica de La Macarena before returning to your hotel. (B)

Day 4: Seville | Cordoba

Follwoing breakfast, spent the morning further enjoying Sevilla before transfering independently to the railway station for the short 45 minute high speed train ride to Cordoba. Important since the Roman ages, Cordoba reached its peak during the Muslim period, especially the IX and Xth centuries when it became the capital of the Caliphate and the most populated city in the world. After arriving make your way to the selected hotel for check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day getting acquainted with this enchanting city. (B)

Day 5: Cordoba | Malaga

Today, after breakfast, you'll enjoy a guided walking tour of Cordoba including a visit to the Mosque and a walk around the old Jewish Quarter with its narrow streets, white-washed houses and one of the few perfectly preserved Synagogues in Spain which you will visit as well. You will then need to make your way to the railway station where you will board a high-speed train to city of Malaga a major coastal city on Spain's famous Costa del Sol. After about one hour arrive in Malaga and, after checking into your hotel, you may want to set out again to start exploring your surroundings. (B)

Day 6: Malaga

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a full day at leisure to explore and enjoy Malaga as you chose. You may start your day by heading to the Plaza de la Constitución in the heart of the historical quarter. From there you will be able to reach many of the monuments, palaces and stunning churches which are plentiful in Malaga. A stay in Malaga should also include a visit to the Alcazaba, the city´s most important archaeological site together with the Castle of Gibralfaro and the Roman Theatre.  (B)
