No vacation on the Amalfi Coast would be complete without a trip to the evocative island of Capri and this morning board a hydrofoil ferry for a pleasant sail to Capri. Once on the island, you'll head by minibus up to Anacapri on the west side of the island with your guide. After a guided tour of Villa San Michele that hosted the famous Swedish doctor Axel Munthe, enjoy some free time to explore this charming town on your own. Wander along cobbled alleys of whitewashed houses and take the jaw-dropping views of the sea and Amalfi Coast. In the afternoon, you'll return to the town of Capri for a walking tour. Stroll along the glamorous shopping street of Via Camerelle and then continue along a panoramic alley to reach Augustus’s Garden which overlooks the famous Faraglioni rocks. Stop at the famous ‘Piazzetta’ of Capri, also called the "sitting room of the world", for some free time, before returning to Sorrento by Jetfoil at about 4:30 pm. Entrance fees to Villa San Michele and Garden of Augustus, are not included. An optional visit to the Blue Grotto can be purchased on-site. The tour duration is approximately 8 hours.
