A wonderful walk through the grandeur and glory of ancient roman times, discovering and admiring the most famous buildings and monuments of Imperial Rome. You will reach the symbol of the Eternal City, the Colosseum, and visit the large archeological area of the Roman Forum, once the political, legal, religious & economic center of the city, completely immersing yourself in the history of Rome. Enjoy this wonderful walking tour with our local guide, to learn everything about the history of the symbol of Rome, the Colosseum.  This tour is an intense, exciting journey where you can contemplate the genius that took place in 70/80 AD, centuries before the advent of modern engineering. Once known as the most famous meeting place in the world this imposing structure has been a symbol of glory and contempt. Just outside the colosseum, the impressive Arch of Constantine awaits. Continuing the walking tour, discover the excavated ruins of the Roman Forum archaeological site, where many structures remain intact to this day. For a city founded in 753 BC, this is no small feat. Our tour ends after approximately 3 hours at the archaeological site and you can continue exploring the area on your own or return to your hotel. With your Colosseum & Roman Forum tour, you'll also receive a complimentary ticket for one run on the Open Bus Double-Decker (2-hour panoramic tour, no stops).
