This morning you’ll set off for a tour of the lovely Valle d’Itria. Stretching from Putignano in the north to Ostuni in the South & resplendent with vineyards, and endless olive groves & dotted with the famous coned roofs of the Trulli. After meeting your guide, discover Alberobello during a pleasant walk through this unique town's narrow alleys with its iconic cone-shaped dwellings - the 'trulli' and visit the 19th-century Trullo Sovrano while listening to tales and stories from times gone by. You'll then drive to the small village of Locorotondo known as one of the Borghi più Belli d'Italia, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Its historic centre & narrow streets make it a wonderful place to wander. Continuing through the scenic Istria Valley landscape, your next stop will be in Martina Franca, an elegant town famed for its Baroque palaces where you’ll have some free time to take lunch. Your tour also includes a tasting of local products. You'll either enjoy a wine tasting (3 wines accompanied by local products), a tasting of local cheeses (such as burrata, mozzarella), a tasting at a bakery (focaccia, taralli, bread & more) or a tasting at a typical Masseria (tasting includes cheese, cold cuts, vegetables in oil & more). At the end of the day, you’ll return to Alberobello. This excursion lasts 6-7 hours approximately.
