Depart from Marseille to arrive in Saint Rémy de Provence for a visit to this picturesque and relaxing Provencal town. a photo stop will be made at the Roman monument "Les Antiques" and you will have the possibility to visit the recreation of Vincent Van Gogh's bedroom in Saint Paul de Mausole where the famous painter stayed between 1889 and 1890. On Wednesdays, you can enjoy Saint Rémy's open-air market, one of the most picturesque in Provence.  In Les Baux de Provence enjoy free time to visit this medieval village located on a rocky spur in the Alpilles mountain range. You'll have the possibility to attend the sound and light show in Les Carrières de Lumières (entrance fee not included). The tour continues to Arles where you can stroll in the footsteps of Van Gogh to discover the places which inspired him in some of his most famous paintings. Arles is also worldwide famous for its architectural heritage some dating back to Roman times. The weekly market in Arles takes place on Saturday mornings; take the opportunity to taste and buy local products (fruits, cheese, nougat, tapenade). There will be free time for lunch on your own, during the tour. Subject to traffic conditions, expect to return to Marseille around 6:30 pm. Small group tour, maximum 8 participants.
