During this 7-day independent tour, discover centuries of history, art & a multitude of cultures as you explore Spain’s cosmopolitan capital Madrid and Seville, a historic masterpiece full of Islamic monuments, splendid palaces & gardens! 

Day 1: Madrid

Upon arrival at Madrid's International Airport, make your way to your centrally located hotel. For added convenience, a private is available on request. Check-in and then enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to begin exploring this cosmopolitan city. 

Day 2: Madrid City & Royal Palaces

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out to discover Madrid's main historic, cultural & artistic sites, followed by a visit to the Royal Palace. During this guided city tour you will be able to find the medieval origins of the city, like the Arabic fortress, at the Barrio de la Morería, characterized by the antiquity of its buildings and the taste of its typical restaurants. We will cover the Hapsburg Madrid of Felipe II with its Renaissance and Baroque buildings, walking and making pictures on Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa. Then, we will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban layout made by Carlos III with the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, Neptune Fountain and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will also admire the works from the kingdom of Joseph Bonaparte in the 19th century, such as Prado Museum & the elegant Plaza de Oriente, and then continue to discover the contemporary Madrid with avenues such as Gran Vi­a, Castellana, Paseo de la Castellana, the Barrio Salamanca district, Plaza de Castilla and Parque del Oeste, as well as the commercial & financial areas of Modern Madrid, like the emblematic Ventas Bullring or Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. During this tour, we will stop at the famous Hard Rock Café, where you will enjoy a free drink. Certainly, the highlight of this tour is a visit to the Royal Palace, the official residence of the Spanish Monarchy from 1765 to 1931. Built in the XVIII century upon the ancient Baroque Italian style fortress of the Habsburg, this magnificent palace is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved palaces in Europe and a symbol of the permanence and consolidation of Madrid as the capital of the Kingdom. The tour ends at the Royal Palace and the afternoon is free to spend as you please.  (B)

Day 3: Toledo

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and the morning at leisure for independent activities. In the afternoon depart for a guided visit to the historic town of Toledo. Located 70 km from Madrid this beautiful city-museum, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is one of the oldest towns in Europe and has a great artistic beauty and buildings from almost all periods in history (Arabian, Gothic, Mudéjar, Renaissance and Baroque style). Toledo is called the “City of the Three Cultures” since Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together. In the XVI century, it was also home to the great painter El Greco. Your tour includes the outside view of the Cathedral Church of St. Tomé with El Entierro del señor de Orgaz, masterpiece of El Greco, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes plus a demonstration of the famous technique of damascene (incrustation of precious metals in steel) and panoramic sightseeing of Toledo. Return to Madrid for overnight accommodation. (B)

Day 4: Madrid | Seville

Following breakfast, check-out of the hotel and make your way to the railway station to board a train for the two & half hours ride to Seville. Upon arrival in Seville, make your way to your hotel in central Seville and enjoy the rest of the day to start exploring this fascinating city. (B)

Day 5: Seville City Tour & Flamenco Show

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting out for today's excursion. Fall in love with the Andalusian capital as you tour the majestic city and discover its most impressive monuments & sites. Discover the charm of Hispanic-Muslim architecture that is all around the city, walk along the shore of the Guadalquivir, the great king of Andalusia, or enjoy the best views of the city from the top of the Giralda. In the company of our official tour guide, you'll visit some of the most emblematic works of Andalusia's historic & artistic heritage. You will be amazed by the Gothic-Mudejar beauty of the Reales Alcázares and the dimensions of the Cathedral of Saint Mary, both declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Walk through the narrow streets and the courtyards of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter of Seville, and if you feel up to it end the day climbing up the almost 98 meters of the Giralda Tower, the undisputed symbol of the city. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours and the remainder of the afternoon is free to spend as you chose. 
A visit to Seville would not be complete without knowing the art of the Andalusian capital, and Andalusia is world-famous for its passion for flamenco dancing. That’s why this evening you will enjoy an unforgettable evening where you can enjoy a real spectacle at a flamenco show while enjoying some delicious tapas. Enjoy a spectacular walking tour to the main monuments of the city centre, bathed in the twilight to prepare your senses for a magical evening. You'll pass by famous landmarks such as the riverbank, the Arenal, the Torre del Oro and the famous Triana Quarter, and revel in the night lighting of the imposing Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza, the Torre del Oro.  After this beautiful walk in Sevilla, we will go by bus to the flamenco show, where you will take a seat next to the stage to enjoy and truly admire the art of dance, which was originated more than three centuries ago. Enjoy this magnificent spectacle while you have some tapas, always with quality products and a cuisine based on the Andalusian tradition. The tour ends at the end of the show, a perfect time of the evening to go for a peaceful walk through the beautiful Sevilla streets in the magical ambience of the night. (B.D)

Day 6: Seville

Enjoy a full day to do as you please. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then set out to continue exploring Seville on your own. Or perhaps consider booking an optional full-day excursion to Cordoba or Granada. (B)

Day 7: Depart Seville

Today, unfortunately, marks the end of your Spain vacation. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, check-out and then transfer independently to the airport to begin your journey back home. (B)
