Edinburgh is a truly magical city, which will bewitch you. Ancient buildings, hidden closes and underground vaults deliver a mystical atmosphere, which continues with enchanting and stunning landscapes outside the city. During your three day visit discover the underground city, the famous Castle and the Old Town, where you will hear stories of the city’s ghostly, cruel and scandalous past!

Day 1: Arrival in Edinburgh

On arrival in Edinburgh transfer independently to your selected hotel. After checking in you are free to start exploring Edinburgh's main attractions with the Royal Tour, a hop-on / hop-off city sightseeing tour. Your ticket is valid for 48 hours on two routes around the city, allowing you to hop-off & on the bus at as many stops as you want to visit and includes entrances to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Yacht Britannia and Holyrood Palace, the absolute "must see' of this royal tour. Then appreciate the contrast between the 18th century Georgian "New Town" with its wide, tree-lined streets & elegant squares, and the medieval "Old Town", and admire the Royal Mile, the backbone of the old quarter running from the Palace of Holyrood House to Edinburgh Castle.

Day 2: Edinburgh

Following breakfast at your hotel, the morning is yours to continue discovering the many your exploration of Scotland's capital city at your own pace. You can also spend some time at the small museums & souvenir shops on the Royal Mile, or enjoy some shopping in the many stores along Princes Street, including Jenners, one of the oldest department stores in the world. 
The best way to explore Edinburgh is to follow your feet and in the afternoon a guided walking tour will introduce you to the secrets of the Royal Mile. Where the buses can’t take you, and the guide books don’t show you is where our city’s stories lie – the closes, wynds, courtyards and homes of Old Edinburgh. With your expert guide, visit sites that are tucked away to see the secrets and tell the tales. You’ll be hanging on your tour guide’s every word, as the true stories of our capital’s past unfold. We’ll help unlock our fascinating past – the culture, crime, politics and people of Scotland’s capital. Day 3: Depart Edinburgh
